Current Volunteer Needs:
Fletcher Mission Center
4 Adult Volunteers to work in the nursery (children ages birth - 5). (Mondays, and Wednesdays 9am-Noon).
Gano Mission Center
1-3 Adult Male Volunteers to work with preteen boys (ages 10-12). (Tuesdays 3:30 pm -- 5:00 pm). Volunteers will play games (like basketball, soccer, video games), participate in Bible study activities and have opportunities for mentoring.
Wanted: Business Professionals who are willing to speak to preteens (boys and girls ages 10-12) about their career. (Tuesdays 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm, for 30 minutes to 1 hour during the program). Additionally, we would love to take a group (up to 10 preteens) on a field trip to visit your place of business and learn about your career choice. Times are flexible (after school and during business hours).
Joy Fellowship Center
2 Bi-lingual Volunteers to interview clients for the food pantry. (Volunteers must be fluent in Spanish). 9:30am - 11:30am (Tues., Wed.), 1:00pm-2:00pm (Tues., Wed.)
2 Volunteers to offer homework assistance to 7-10 year olds. (Wednesdays 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm).
2 Volunteers to teach beginners and advanced E.S.L. classes. (Contact Vanessa for details).
Volunteers interested in teaching GED classes to young adults. (Contact Vanessa for details).
